That's great, and kudos to SpinRite.  It took three days, and it sucessfully recovered everything.  But the build quality on this Acer Aspire 150 netbook is not good if I've had three crashes in Windows (where it woudn't start up) in as many months.  Ouch.

 

Anyway, I'm going ANOTHER old-fashioned disk-to-disk backup, and then I'm installing Windows 7 Release Candidate.

 

If I have another problem I will chuck the hard drive and put in a bigger one.
